The FoBR and the Boyne Valley Garden Club are giving away American Mountain Ash, Red Maple, American Basswood, and Red Oak Seedlings. The City is giving away Red and White Pine and Blue and Norway Spruce.

River Monitoring
Tuesday, May 5, 9am-12pm
Join the STREAM TEAM volunteer river monitors. The presence or absence of pollution-sensitive “water bugs” indicates river health. Help catch and identify them. We work with experts from Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council. Call 231-330-2923 for details.

Bring garden tools to mulch memorial trees, pull weeds, weed whip, and plant flowers to prepare for summer visitors. Followed by a light lunch.
